As part of the fundraising effort for Fight Bladder Cancer, a community evening with an antique theme was held in Osgodby, Scarborough. Renowned auctioneer David Duggleby hosted the event whereby teams of amateur enthusiasts had to appraise items and try to place a value. A very successful evening which raised £360 through ticket sales and a well supported raffle.
I would like to thank David for donating his time on the evening, as well as the people of Osgodby for supporting the event. I would also like to thank The Poachers Barn, The Stained Glass Centre and Raven Hall Country House Hotel for their incredibly generous donations of raffle prizes – it really is appreciated. Above all, I need to pass on my thanks to Mum and Dad for their efforts in organising the evening – a job well done 🙂
